Today, Iris performs Mozart concerti with confidence and grace, her German 7/8 violin gifted through PCM's instrument bank ringing through recital halls across Phoenix. When the pandemic forced lessons online, Iris could have given up. Instead, she pushed forward with remarkable grit, practicing daily, perfecting her technique, refusing to let distance diminish her dedication.

Because of music education, Iris discovered discipline and artistry. Because of community support through our instrument bank and scholarship programs, she had access to the tools and teaching that developed her gifts.

Patrick walked into PCM searching for an escape from difficult circumstances. He found something far more powerful: mentors who became life guides, teachers who believed in him when doubt crept in, and peers who pushed him to reach higher. Through PCM's scholarship program, Patrick transformed discipline into artistry and uncertainty into purpose. His dedication earned him a full-ride scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where he now dreams not only of performing professionally but of giving back to the community that shaped him.

Sebastien loved guitar but lacked direction when he first arrived at PCM. With scholarship support in our College Prep Program, he found his rhythm through private lessons, ensemble experiences, and college prep coaching that lit a clear path forward. The day he was accepted to Berklee on a full scholarship, he and his grandmother danced around the living room with pure joy. For Sebastien, PCM didn't just teach music. $125 covers one month of private lessons for a scholarship student ready to develop their unique voice
$250 sponsors participation in a PCM summer camp week for a student that would otherwise not be able to participate

$938 supports one quarter of ensemble rehearsals for one ensemble
$2,500 provides support for one semester of an after school program for a school in need or compensation for two teaching artists for one month- ensuring we keep our most talented educators $4,000 supports room and board for a scholarship student for a summer intensive immersion program.
